A Wedding in the Midlands

Last year Donne approached me about some candle lights for her wedding in February. I didn’t have much time before moving out of my lovely Assaguy garage/studio (which I sorely miss) to moving back in with my folks before I headed off to Cape Town. So before I ran out of  time I was set on doing some candle lights for her.
She had a dandelion theme in mind, which was perfect as I had some left over from a series that was sent to The Ruby Orchard earlier in the year. So along with those I made some new designs specifically for her. Some simple designs that would fit in without being a distraction yet subtle romantic lighting. I made her eight unique handmade candle lights which were complimented well with her use of a rustic wooden base , I think it turned out pretty well.
Ive always wanted to have some custom handmade lighting at a wedding so I was really happy to see this happen. Not only were they used as decorations but also as wedding gifts, which is a special touch and a beautiful way to reuse her already reused PVC candle lights.

What a beautiful couple, congratulations and good luck for the future Mr and Mrs Venter.
